The Kunrau Eco School is located on the northern edge of the Drömling nature park. At this place of extracurricular learning in Kunrau Castle, we implement projects with ecological, economic and social educational goals for all schools in Saxony-Anhalt.
Network of Eco Schools in Saxony-Anhalt
Our network of eco schools in Saxony-Anhalt, which is part of the LISA (State Institute for Teacher Education and School Development) in Halle, offers all school pupils in our state interdisciplinary, problem-based and activity-oriented work and encourages their creative ability.
At a total of six locations, which are situated at landscape-specific locations in Saxony-Anhalt, educational activities and projects can be implemented in line with the syllabus for a sustainable development, for all types of schools. Over the course of time, the eco schools have progressed from being purely environmental education centres according to the educational mandate of the education act, and are now network centres of education for sustainable development.
